Article: A new Beginning for East McKeesport Floral Shop Destroyed by Fire
Now, plans to rebuild are officially underway. A building permit has been approved for a new shop about a block away from the original site. The new shop will be larger than the original and the groundbreaking is set for next month. The new building will have two floors, extra access to the street and more room to grow inside.
Article: Vehicle crashes into newly opened Brewery at Luciano's in Monroeville
After nearly two years of waiting out covid-19 restrictions, the new restaurant hadn’t even been open a week when a vehicle struck the building Saturday night.
David Stumpf of Monroeville had just placed his drink order Saturday night at the Brewery at Luciano’s when “the wall behind us just exploded.” Stumpf, who is an architect by trade, said it didn’t appear as though the building had been damaged in a critical way.
